Suburban Ice Macomb construction began on October 1, 2004. Opening in August of 2005, the 70,000 sq ft. arena features two NHL-sized rinks (200 x 85), Centre Ice Cafe, B&R Sports pro shop, 10 locker rooms, meeting/off-ice room, and figure/hockey instructor rooms.
Since 2005, more than 30,000 skaters and hockey players have laced up their skates at Suburban Ice Macomb. The facility also proudly hosted the USA Hockey National Championships in 2017 and 2022, highlighting its role in supporting competitive excellence as well as community development.
